I understand that Owners Management Programme (OMP) is basically for SME, how will it help businessmen or profession from other categories?

OMP is about imparting new management techniques needed for participants enabling them to adapt to the changing business atmosphere/ways of doing business or profession. Therefore, any individual running business or profession irrespective of the size, can take benefits form OMP Sessions.

OMP may be good value to people in manufacturing, is it equally applicable to retail, wholesale, distribution and Trading. Will it help people engaged in other than manufacturing?

It is a myth that OMP only helps manufacturer. OMP is equally good for Retail, Wholesale, distribution, Service or Trading. The basic concepts is how to increase business and double the profits which is applicable to one and all.

Will OMP help people engaged in Services like Chartered Accountants, Company Secretary, Cost Accountants, Doctors, Architects, Insurance agents etc?

Yes, OMP is equally good for professionals and who are in service industry. Any business/professional who has his own business and have more than one employees will be immensely benefited by doing these course. They will be able to double their fees by applying the concepts in their services.

My cousin/partner/associate have done this programme, why should I join now. One is enough? but I didn't find any growth happening in business?

The understanding between cousins/partners/associates can increase tremendously once all of them take this course. The language of growth which they would speak will be common for all stakeholders.

I have observed that a friend from Joint family business has attended OMP classes, but he is not able to implement anything and when he tries, it gets overruled by senior members of family running the business?

We suggest that all the working members of family attend the program. The take away would be more co-ordination than confrontation. Convince or get convinced. Discuss and not dictate.

Is it a full time course? It would be difficult for me to come out of my business and attend classes?

No. It is not a full time course. It is held on Saturday full day and Sunday half day, once in a month and 12 such classes in a year. But the program covers important aspects of all relevant dimensions covered in an MBA program.

Who all can join the course? Is there any age bar? Should I join Individually or with family members?

The person who has completed atleast ten years in business is likely to benefit most from this program. If members from more than one generations are involved in the business than their doing the program together will be of immense value to them.

Where are the classes held?

The classes are regularly held at Hotel Inner Circle, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. The fee is inclusive of Breakfast and Lunch. One or two classes are planned outdoor in Resorts as well which is planned by the participants themselves as their own cost.

Will it be only theory?

No. Apart from theory, the Professors plan for Industrial visits to big companies in India and abroad. The last industrial visit was to Reliance Industries and Balaji Wafers in Gujarat. International tour was conducted to South Korea and Japan in November 2015.
